Ship Recycling Business is not Easy. There are two strong points to get revenue from a scrap ship

1. Before Scrap Ship, you must calculate the plate condition and weight also
2. Outfitting materials must be assumed, and the assumption must be accurate.
A Engineer may study their undergraduate level according to ship drawing and construction policy, as well, but the Ship Recycling sector is totally different. You may have an educational degree, but it's totally valueless under field inspection and experience.

On May 23, 2025, representatives from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Bangladesh Maritime University, and the Ministry of Industries conducted a visit to ship recycling facilities located within Compliant yards. There is collective anticipation that significant improvements will be implemented promptly in the ship recycling sector, which will result in enhanced compliance management practices in Bangladesh.
