My Work

In my professional work , its my first criteria to check the overall construction drawing of dredger and also check the construction plan in field . Therefore i also check welding whether its right or wrong. If i find something wrong in construction , i will suggest workers and their authority . Besides i learn many different things in shipbuilding side such as how to welding inspection , compare design and construction . Moreover i am able to expert in water level testing , tank testing , ultrasonic test , inclining test etc . I think that as a naval architect , it should be learned too strongly .

During my working , i meet Layards Register ,RINA surveyors  and also get a good communication in various shipbuilding in Bangladesh .

on the other hand i also learn some basic terms of mechanical side like as pipe line and hydraulic system. Even i check and verify overall machinery system using in dredger like as main engine , auxiliary engine , dredge pump, generator , cutter head ,hydraulic winch  , suction pipe etc . Interestingly i able to introduce bilge and ballast system , air filling and sounding system , raw cooling water system , fuel oil system , etc . I hope these topics also will help me to be a dredger specialist .
